INTEGRITY ISSUED TASK ORDER FOR TSA INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION

Integrity to Provide Independent Cost Estimate for Secure Flight Program


Frederick, Md., August 4, 2009 – Integrity Consulting today confirmed the issuance of Task Order One out of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This task order is for a independent cost estimation for Secure Flight, a name-based security threat assessment system for domestic and international airline passengers designed to protect the U.S. transportation system against terrorism.

Integrity, partnering with service disabled veteran owned Flatter & Associates, will act as an outside party to develop an Independent Cost Estimate for the fiscal years 2009 through 2020. The results will be compared to the existing program Life Cycle Cost Estimate to validate overall appropriateness.

More than a month ago, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Flatter & Associates and Integrity were selected as the bid winners for a five year, $30 million Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) engagement with the TSA.  Integrity, was chosen to sub-contract with Flatter over the five year program. Integrity’s overall role is expected to exceed $4 million in work and ensure proper system specifications. As evidenced by Task Order One, the critical component of quality management, vital to the success of this TSA program, is performance assessment of a third party vendor.
