In loving memory of Chris Campbell:

Chris Campbell
Former Managing Principal

Chris Campbell, former Managing Principal and co-founder of Integrity Consulting, passed away in July of 2010 at just 41 years old. Chris had spent his entire career in the consulting industry and was no stranger to start-up companies. Chris, whose passion and zest for life are deeply missed, focused on helping companies create and execute business and IT strategies. He had a unique perspective to the business planning process and had extensive experience with executive teams in finance, IT, sales, marketing, operations and human resources. Before Integrity, he was the co-founder and Managing Principal of Washington Consulting (WCI), a consulting firm he grew to over 120 employees and more than $20 million in revenue in just three years. Prior to Washington Consulting, Chris served as a Director in the Washington D.C. Business Consulting practices of both Bearing Point and Arthur Andersen.

Chris was passionate about Integrity, and worked to build this strong local consulting practice founded on a commitment to apply honest value in the business world, and to have a lasting impact on people’s lives. His strength and faith never waivered during his seven-year health struggle that started with blood clots in his lungs, took him through a double-lung transplant and ended with brain cancer. Chris is survived by his wife, Dorothy and four children, Taylour, Steffen, Cole and Cassie. Dorothy and the children are Chris' greatest legacy.

Chris was born on March 5, 1969 in Valley Forge, PA before his family moved to McLean, VA in 1972. Chris was the youngest of the six children and lived in the Northern Virginia area for most of his life. He graduated from Langley High School in 1986 and then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991. Chris also earned his MBA degree from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in 1995.

Chris had always been an active participant in his community, serving with Young Life ministries, building friendships with his brothers in the Kappa Sigma fraternity at Georgia Tech, leading the Christian Fellowship and community service organizations at Darden, playing on the Georgia Tech men's volleyball team and on several regional club teams in the DC area, working with the youth group at Vienna Presbyterian Church, and spending many wonderful seasons coaching the soccer teams for each of his children in the Vienna Youth Soccer program. Chris also served on the Green Hedges School Board of Trustees. Chris has never measured his success based on achievements or involvement or titles. His battles with a terminal illness in the prime years of his life brought his focus into loving and serving his family and friends to the best of his ability and to the glory of God.

Chris Campbell’s memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of all Integrity employees and in everyone that had the honor of meeting this great and giving person who gave us all so much to learn from.
